i guess we'll see, bob. i personally don't think he's going to be that disruptive because he'll be playing such a minimal role on the team. if he's that much of a monster that he can poison the locker room in a matter of weeks then i would hope they would just cut the bastard.

plus we should all hope he does well so he can end up baron davis-ing it for the warriors or clippers for the next 5 years.

They were being crowned champions back in December, and then they stopped playing team D and they've come back to earth a bit. I'm not saying they're bad by any stretch – but whatever they had going at the end of last year and the beginning of this year is missing in some regard. Maybe it's fatigue, who knows.

And look, the guy is not just a grouch, he's insane. INSANE. I live in NY and love the Knicks, and he's been absolutely selfish and disastrous. I admire Boston's optimism, but they're making a big mistake.

yea their “team” approach is crumbling…to the tune of a 46-12 record. they should really try a different approach before they sink to the bottom of the standings.

i predict crazybury will do just fine with the c's and then, yes, some sucker will sign him to a 5-year deal next year and we can all enjoy that.

I don't watch the Cs because, well, because I hate everyone on the team, but it's my subjective opinion that their vaunted “team” approach is crumbling, and I don't see Marbury helping with that. Of course, I'm a Knicks fan so I'm prejudiced.

marblebury will be fine. he just needs to come off the bench and hit a few jumpers once in a while, then disappear. he'll behave because he only has like two months to pretend he's a good teammate so he can get paid next year.
