Okay, so it looks like any combination of at least two of the following will lead you to this online internet blog website, which is mine:

fictional spaceship
Jennifer Stano
tmobile blackberry storm
airplane

Let’s congratulate me on being way ahead on that “t-mobile blackberry storm” thing, by the way. It was not only relevant, but eventually traffic-inducing, as well.

Which means I won, and was right, and am the winner for being correct.

One internet blog website post I wished I’d never seen is the one that told me that Shaq hasn’t stretched in 17 years in the NBA.

This is no astounding statement by any means, but I’ve always said Shaq only tapped into a portion of his potential, and considering the career he’s had, that’s kinda sad.

I figure his one MVP award means I’m not alone in thinking Shaq has never worked all that hard in terms of basketball.

Whatever, I guess – Shaq can go on the list with the skinny Clippers guard who refused to lift weights, which made him lose his knee in a jumping accident, and Larry Hughes, who doesn’t like the weight room and is therefore always hurt.

I put Stano in the title in order to increase the Jennifer Stano search power. I think if we all, collectively, could become the world’s second most important source for information about Jennifer Stano, it could lead somewhere quite important.

(Special shout out to the person who searched for “Jennifer Stano Brian doing it on airplane”.

Also, a plea to stop emailing me about LeBron. I swear to god, I don’t care if he leaves. It affects me 0%.)

Your email on TrueHoop today seemed a bit ghey. Also, I’m not sure how signing with the Knicks means he doesn’t care about winning?

In two years will the Cavs be better than the Knicks? I’m not even sure how you can speculate about that with the turnover of rosters in the NBA. The Knicks will have a completely new roster by then and who knows what Ferry is going to do trade wise with the roster in order to keep LeBron.

Personally (i can speculate because I’m a speculator), I’m doubting CLE will be better than NY, especially if the Knicks can get Amare or Bosh or DWade or Nash to go with LeBron. Even though the Cavs might have the cap room to pick up one of those guys too, who wants to go to Cleveland over NY? By then players will be picking DET over CLE.

Then, LeBron has been saying he wants to get out and run more ever since he got to Cleveland and what’s in NY? The ultimate get out and run coach.

LeBron has already shown he can lead a crummy team to the NBA Finals so it’s not like the Knicks need to be that good to get him there. Give him the cash, give him the coach, give him one other big name and get out of his way.

Why the Cavaliers didn’t try to do this like….three years ago is anyone’s guess. When you have the best player in the game you don’t fool around and hope that Larry Hughes/Ben Wallace/Boobie/Mo Will will transform into something they aren’t. You go out and get that other sure thing, get the coach LeBron wants when he was available this past Summer and you roll with that.

Why do people talk about the Cavs like they’re 1-11 or something? They’re universally regarded as one of the best three teams in the NBA, and have a very fluid offense finally this year.

You can’t just throw LeBron and Bosh on a team of nobodies and think they’ll instantly win just because they get to run-n-gun. Chemistry and other such things still count for something.

I can’t remember how many titles D’Antoni won in PHX with that, but maybe someone can look it up?

This season the Cavs are one of the best teams in the NBA. No doubt about that. But we’re talking about two years from now, not today. Which roster will be more attractive in two years?

LeBron nearly won with a group of nobodies two years ago, right? What kind of ‘chemistry’ did KG,Allen and Pierce have before last season? Have you not been reading about the supposed “NY Pact” Lebron/Bosh/Wade made this past Summer and LeBron’s escalating relationship with D’Antoni?

D’Antoni won as many titles in PHX as Coach Mike has won in CLE.

My point is, don’t get mad at LeBron if he leaves, get mad at the Cavs for not doing what they needed to do to keep him.

What part of “I don’t care if he leaves” is unclear? I’m assuming he’s good as gone.

The Wade/LeBron/Bosh thing is what it is, and I think it’s hilarious, considering the number of NBA rumors I started via my old website that ended up the national media.

But here’s what I ask you – what would you suggest the Cavs “do” to keep him? Keep the following in mind:

They have one of the best teams in the league, expiring deals up to $20M to trade for people THIS year, and as much cap space as anyone set for 2010. They also have first class facilities, will spend whatever is necessary, an owner who doesn’t meddle, amenities that are as good as any in the NBA, a coach who lets LeBron share in all the decision-making, management that caters to his and his friends’ every desire, and the Cavs play within 25 miles of his entire network of family and friends.

What ELSE exactly are they supposed to do?

the part where you still complain about it and have an email about it end up on one of the most frequented basketball websites.

Hindsight is 20/20 on what they should have done because it’s probably too late to do anything at this point. Suck it up and trade him for parts when his value is the highest. Stop complaining about LeBron and start complaining about management.
