(For lack of anything better, this is a picture of my iPod and to-do list.

Yes, I use iCal and have lists on my Blackberry, but for smaller tasks, there’s something I really enjoy about crossing things off with a Sharpie. I blame Mom.)

I’m really sorry about being so here-and-there about how hardcore I am about the Cavs, but I’m still not completely over that season LeBron didn’t try all the time.

He still has so many moments/spans when he just stands there, and it makes me vexy.

Regardless, they’ve managed a couple tough wins on the road, and the Joe Smith thing has me happy for some reason.

Anyway, Trey over at The Blowtorch had his Who Shot Mamba? DVD screening experience, so you can go read about that.

Becky: Jonas Bros 3D must have been sold out last night
Becky: You can see it in lebron’s face

Brian: Ha but Mo was like YO I GOTS THE BOOTLEG DVD
Brian: And that’s when LBJ had the dunk and was like HELL YEAH LETS DO THIS

Becky: But he kept checking the clock so he would not miss last showtime

Brian: Yeah and DWade wanted to see Doubt, so that’s why he was sad cause it was clear he lost the movie bet

She ditched me after this – perhaps she is a nun now?

If you haven’t gotten yours, I’m still waiting for the contents of my LA PO Box. I just know the day I get back to LA, it’s gonna get here. This bit of WSM?-type of curse/absurdity is all but assured.

I’ll be around here and Twitter today – writing heavily.

    1) Twitter has no known business plan.

    2) Yep – they're on the way.

    1) Twitter has no known business plan. Personally, I have sold books because people found me on Twitter. I don't think anyone would ever be able to make you an “x number of Tweets = y number of dollars” chart, though.

    2) Yep – they're on the way.

i'm scared of twitter. i just learned RSS feeds… For example, i tried to view Rick Lundeen's new comic from the sidebar twitter, but all I got was an ad for Halo Wars. How does twitter know I'm obsessed w/ Halo?

I had no snappy comeback, so I let it be. It was an off night. I got no z's at all, and watched a whole Keanu Reeves movie on purpose with no lolz at all. There's surprisingly little to watch at 5 a.m. I always figured the so-called early birds had access to such great stuff the rest of us were missing while we snoozed the sunrise away. But that is some horsehockey and i hope to never be awake that early, or late, again, ever, unless I am at Cafeteria or Big Daddy's for a mac & cheese nightcap.

Please do not abandon me in my time of need, and/or insanity.

From my facebook: “Laura McManus needs help with twitter!! I joined! It's lkmcmanus.”

I don't tweet, and therefore did the next best thing:

“tweet my friend ' brianspaeth ' he is employed by twitter and helps out people who are new. he'll show you the ropes.”

she may be shy. you may have to make the first move. commence lol making.

I got mad at LeBron for just standing there in the 4th quarter against Atlanta but then I realized he had played the whole second half and he had to play again the next night, so I got less mad -'specially because we won.
I feel like last night was one of the biggest wins of the season. Back to back with a 4Q comeback against a playoff team. If we beat Milwakee and then win in Boston I will be cartwheeling.

Yeah the problem is when LeBron is standing around, everyone follows suit. Like if Pavs stands around nobody really notices.

I'd much rather he'd just sit and rest instead of stand around.

Why is Dwight Howard saying that other people started calling him Superman like it was some random thing? He put on a costume at the Slam Dunk Contest.

I like him, but hat particular marketing ploy offends me in several ways.

I have nothing but faith that is coming. One day I will see this crazy snake and non leg broken inflatable defender. BTW, is it bad that the only thing I can think of when reading Joe Smith stories is 1) Make hack joke that the Cavs lose 1st round picks the next four years and 2) Why the hell did the T-Wolves do all that for Joe Smith?

Re: Joe Smith, I remember growing up in DC that there was a huge todo over Juwan Howard between the bullets and the Heat, and some shadiness. I remember thinking why anyone went through all that for Juwan Howard? More ink and blood has been spilled over those two…

Yah, I think Juwan had all the hype from being part of Michigan's Fab 5 and a high draft pick..what 4th or 5th I think? Smith was great in college and had a fantastic rookie year, but he never seemed good enough for all the shenanigans that went down…who knows?

I think so, I know Juwan signed a deal w/ the Heat the league then blocked for going over the salary cap I think, then he ended up staying with Wash

Still with the LeBron “not trying” thing . . . I would venture that him standing on the court doing nothing scores more points for the Cavs than sitting on the bench with some other guy running around.

And the twitter . . . is it like universal IM? Do people with desk jobs twitter? It seems like automatic fired as you are constantly inundated with 2-sentence messages. And in these tough economic times is it really worth the tweet?
