I ended up in this gchat yesterday and just thought this was the best idea ever.

Not as good as my idea for a restaurant called Bucket – you just order a small, medium, or large bucket of food and get whatever they bring you – but still pretty good.

me: they should do a shot-for-shot remake of die hard but reverse the sex of all the characters

her: everyone would say none of it rang true
her: because the original is so believable/true to life lol
her: and the director wouldn’t be able to resist dumb cat fight scenes either

me: it would be interesting as an expensive experiment

her: it’d end up terrible because no one understands #girls

me: what if lena dunham played bruce willis and marnie was hans gruber

If they did a big-budget version of this, I’d definitely see it.

In any case, my Guys Who Watch Girls podcast with @robertcarroll doesn’t happen anymore, since we collectively decided we didn’t want to watch Girls anymore. I’ve continued to watch it anyway.
