Debates, Wings, Foot Fist Way

I’m totally watching the debate tonight online – I’m real into watching stuff online right now, if you haven’t noticed.

That’s because there’s no TV where I live at the moment.

I guess I’m an Obama guy, although I doubt I’ll vote at all. I haven’t yet in my life, and am now so intimidated by the whole thing, I can’t go now.

What if I get in there and don’t know what to do? I can’t ask the old ladies working there – then I’ll have to admit I’ve never voted, which I’ll never to to anyone, anywhere, in any forum.

Enough though – I realized a pretty grim fact lasterday – I hadn’t thought about airplanes all day.

After cutting myself a couple times, I went ahead and blocked off an hour to do nothing but think about them. This is what came out, from my “Airplane Thinking Journal”:

Wings help the airplanes float in the air. Without them, the airplanes would fall down.

Falling airplanes make me sad, but that’s not because of the people or the ground that gets hurt in a crash, but because the airplane gets hurt.

Nobody asked the airplane if it wanted to fly – maybe it wanted to be a museum airplane. Like the ones in that one museum with the silly faces on the front that are so angry.

They’re so silly!

The wings are graceful like a bird. They get dirty in the air. Soar above the clouds, airplane. You are majestic. Your engine uses gasoline. I hope you can fly again soon!

That was just stream of consciousness stuff – there was more, but I don’t put everything in my journal. Some of my thoughts about airplanes are just for me.

Foot Fist Way went on the Vegetable Trivia Game list, but it hasn’t been posted to the site yet.

I’d say it goes on that list with Napoleon Dynamite as something I just didn’t “get”.
