Who Shot Mamba(I’m gathering together all the @Brandi88 Coloring Contest entries and forming a gallery.

I already know who won, so it’s exciting to know I’ll be giving away $30 soon.)

You may be looking for a “what did you do while you were away from the net” post today, but I don’t feel like an a-b-c description of the events is particularly useful, and let’s face it – it’s all about being useful.

I want to skip right to the results of my excursion, and they are as follows:

1) Duck – This is the typical one you think of when going on about the water-based birds. Lays eggs, says quack, walks in front of your car, lives at the zoo.

2) Goose – This is a duck who can fly.

3) Swan – This is a duck-goose amalgam crossbreed hybrid.

That’s basically it, and it hasn’t escaped me that I could’ve Googled it at any point in time since they made up Google. I hope this teaches you a bit about self-discovery.

Next is the buffalo/moose/antelope thing – again, I’m just letting the answers arrive from within.

I did finish a mini-book I’d been working on, related to WSM?, and then started another book not related at all to WSM?.

What’s the most exciting or important or significant thing you did last week. Have you ever eaten swan.

(Go be pals with the iconic and singular Calvin Stadiums on Facebook – challenge him to 1-on-1.)

Just don't eat the 'goose who lays the golden egg.' -@littlefoxy

Hey! I can't help but notice the “?”'s above. Does this mean you changed your punctuation stance while on your hiatus? I think I've seen a swan. Does that count? I think I could also pretend that I have eaten a swan and that should for SURE count. WB.

i once had a pet goose.

Um…what? Excursion? Ducks can fly, btw, and swans are not “amalgams”.

I am just waiting for the announcement that Jack Cobra will be taking over now that Brian is mailing in his performances.

  • TVBrain

    It's more antelope/gazelle/mule deer.

Hmmm Amy brings up an interesting point, would new WSM? content require a lack of ? These are the things that boggle the mind.

As for last week, I went to ST Louis, saw some baseball games, and got 4th at a blackjack tourney. Now its packing to move back to Dallas.

Another important distinction, duck's require nothing but passing where as geese inspire circular running.

really? no one wants to know about my pet goose??

  • http://madpropstobakedpotatoes.com Brian

What time did the goose go to bed at night. Did you really have a goose. wtf

  • http://madpropstobakedpotatoes.com Brian

Is that true about those animals.

WSM? is exempt from my question mark policy due to being a proper noun.

  • http://madpropstobakedpotatoes.com Brian

    Hey Mule Deer!

  • http://madpropstobakedpotatoes.com Brian

Ducks can't fly – are you insane. how long have you been with your girlfriend, yo.

  • http://alexisreviews.tumblr.com alexiskn

why yes, Brian, i did really have a pet goose! his name was Willie Ferdinan and he was very cute as a baby goose and i think he thought i was his mom because he would follow me everywhere. once i gave him a bath in my bathtub and he swam around and then after he fell asleep in a towel in my lap after i dried him off and it was super cute. then after he got big and annoying my step dad made me take him and leave him at the park with the other geese that he didn't know and i cried a lot.

also, i don't know what time he went to bed at night because he lived outside.

  • becky_b

we had a pet duck. his name was Sylvester. he was an asshole.
    I hope someone ate him a l'orange.

    Hey Deer!

This sounds like the cutest thing in the whole world. How old were you? I hope that there are home videos. Did you know they made a movie about your life called Fly Away Home. Loved that movie when it came out still love it. loving that movie as a little kid was one of the first signs I wasn't normal. Also owning a copy of Spice World the Spice Girls movie and watching it a lot. Well there you have it. The most important thing I did this week. I haven't done anything important. Maybe wearing my Dharma Jumpsuit watching Lost. Seems like important work. Also once I ate something out of a tin foil Swan, but never an actual swan.

  • http://www.icanprobablydothat.com Boney

I did laughing when your first comment was “I once had a pet goose” and then I remember how you asked me the other night before we made love on the hot plate of yams if we could get a goose.

    and I said no.
